這是今天剛來的小貝(basil)。

鑑於上回未能好好照顧阿貝,讓阿貝營養不良,疏於照顧而枯死,這回決定好好照顧新來的小貝,以利以後有吃不完的羅勒炒蛋。

仔細看了一下說明,嗯,還滿多單字(生XD)的,而且看起來都很實用,所以用功的查了一下。

Sainsbury's Living basil
An aromatic herb with a warm spicy flavouri; a classic flavour of the Mediterranean.

具有溫暖香氣,地中海典型香味的植物。

...stirring torn basil leaves and lemon juice into melted parmesan cheese as a sauce for pasta.
...enlivening mayonnaise with finely chopped basil and garlic to make a delicious 'aioli' for serving with poached salmon.
...blending shredded basil with butter to accompany poached fish.

試試囉:
羅勒葉撕裂,和檸檬汁加入融化的巴馬乾酪攪拌,做成醬汁,和在義大利通心粉中。(青醬義大利麵!)
羅勒葉和蒜頭切末和美乃滋充分混和,做成好吃的aioli沙拉醬。淋在水煮鮭魚上。
羅勒葉切成條狀,和奶油水煮魚肉拌炒。

How do I look after my Living Herb?
Where to keep me
Remove sleeve from plant and keep for TRY ideas. Place pot on a saucer and keep in a bright place like the windowsill. Do not refrigerate.

如何照顧?
何處保存?
移開塑膠套,置於淺碟上,放在像窗臺那樣陽光充足的地方,不要放冰箱。

How to water
Water sparingly only when the plant starts to physically wilt.

如何澆水?
當小貝開始有點乾枯時,澆一點點水即可。

How to use
To use, pick off large leaves, so the tip and side shoots remain. Rinse under running water and gently pat dry using kitchen paper.

如何使用?
要吃的時候,摘下大片的葉子,留下頂端和邊邊的幼芽。用流動的水沖洗,然後用廚房紙巾輕輕的拍乾。

這樣就很清楚如何照顧了。
